From SDG to BioStackHQ — A New Institutional Chapter

Every institution reaches moments that invite reflection as much as they demand action. Today marks one such moment for our Group.

We begin a new chapter under the name BioStackHQ.

This change is not merely a new identity. It represents the natural evolution of an organisation whose purpose has grown beyond the boundaries envisioned at its inception. While the name changes, the principles that have guided us remain unchanged: integrity, disciplined execution, respect for people, responsible stewardship and an unwavering commitment to creating enduring value.

Our journey began with the conviction that meaningful enterprises are built patiently. Over time, our activities expanded across industries, technologies and opportunities that required a broader institutional foundation than our previous identity could adequately represent. BioStackHQ reflects that broader purpose.

Rather than functioning as a collection of independent businesses, we are building an institution that provides governance, strategic direction, disciplined capital allocation and shared capabilities across a portfolio of ventures. Each venture will retain its own entrepreneurial character while benefiting from the strength, discipline and long-term perspective of the wider Group.

Our ambition is not measured solely by financial performance. Sustainable institutions create value through responsible leadership, continuous learning, innovation and trust. We believe organisations that endure are those that consistently place stewardship ahead of short-term gain and invest in capabilities that benefit future generations.

As BioStackHQ evolves, we will continue investing in areas where science, technology, agriculture, digital infrastructure and knowledge intersect. These investments are guided by a simple principle: solve meaningful problems through institutions capable of creating lasting impact.

The publications, research papers and perspectives shared through the BioStackHQ Briefings platform are intended to document our thinking openly and transparently. They represent an institutional memory that will continue to evolve as our organisation grows.
